Strategic Supplier Management
Managing strategic suppliers has become a hot topic for senior management attention. Big value outsourcing deals, public/private partnerships and supply chain rationalisation are just some of the critical activites that rely on well-managed relationships. But, findings from the latest research by Henley suggest progress is still in its early days when it comes to supply relationship management. Henley, with partners Future Purchasing Ltd and Odgers, Ray and Berndtson reveal that massive relational value is still to be unlocked, based on the results of the largest global survey of the field.
